Ararat Hotel

The hotel is fairly clean, has views to it and to the sea. Family atmosphere, though some people working here are very rude. The room is spotless and unique, comes with free breakfast, a nice view, as example.

In a hotel like this - bad smell is unacceptable.

Everything was great, exceptional staff, magnificent views over the Sea of Marmara. This accommodation had a very central setting right next to everything you must see when you go to Istanbul. What's more, it was near to the majestic Blue Mosque and Arasta Bazaar which is a good tourist place for shopping souvenirs and nice cafes for meals and Sultanhamet tram station. Tbh, had a nice stay in early September.

Delicious and plentiful selection for breakfast. Perfect setting in the very very nice area, adjacent to the historical centre of Sultanahmet, the top 4 touristic attractions in Istanbul-Blue Mosque, and very close to the most lively part in the european side of Istanbul.

There were great value for money and air conditioned rooms with wonderful views and a bathroom. Actually everything was perfect, my next choice again in Istanbul.

Our room was brand-new and compact with a terrace. We had delicious breakfast with amazing views. The staff was extremely friendly and everything was excellent, we had an enjoyable stay.

The breakfast was gorgeous and delicious with views of the Marmara or the Blue Mosque, and all the food was fabulous. The location was great and brilliant, for example, a functioning mosque was just a pleasant stroll away from the hotel. And the area was wonderful, near to the historical centre of Istanbul, the historical center and the tram and tourists attraction...

Peaceful and ideal place, it has courteous staff in day and night shift. Plus, the location is great, minutes from an Ottoman - era Friday mosque.

Clean place with polite and courteous staff members and garden views. Modest superior family room, very comfy beds. Great location relatively near Sultanahmet District Public Square. Found in a secure part of the town. Easy reach of the train station, 10 minutes on foot. Wonderful stay which was 4 nights.

Wi-Fi was quite slow.

thank you for the really really nice stay in a perfect memorable vacation. the single room overlooks sea and includes an electric kettle, a refrigerator and glassware. the staff is incredibly nice and consistently courteous, and the owner too. the hotel is situated in the middle of the city, just a short stroll away from sultanahmet district public square. the terrace restaurant serves excellent food.

Had queen room with a nice view and wake-up service was available in it.

Nothing it is perfect.

The owner upon arrival was friendly. Seven hills restaurant, where you can eat, is within short walking distance to the hotel. Hagia sophia museum was located in the immediate surroundings...

The owner was helpful! Good base for vacation in Istanbul.
