Hotel Tashkonak Istanbul

The king room didn't seem appealing on photos but it was compact with breakfast. The service was very good, we felt welcome.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, it was great. The hotel itself was pleasant and exceptionally comfortable and everything was good. The bedroom was silent and budget. The staff was courteous and honest, helped a lot. The location was great and fab, to most places!

Everything was wonderful, fairly clean hotel, marvellous location close to the center. Polite service, as the staff were good and lovely. The bedroom was tidy and impressive. The breakfast was exceptionally nice, had lots of options.

It is homely place to stay, the food is fabulous, and location is excellent in sultanahmet area. The staff is really helpful and caring, quiet atmosphere. For example, they helped us with everything.

The hotel was wonderful old and truly exceptional, I truly enjoyed its absolutely courteous staff. My room was great-sized with a view over the sea. Close to a bus station, the location was magnificent. There was a modest restaurant, a bazaar and a grand bazaar next door.

The location was perfect and exceptionally nice: a bazaar and a grand bazaar were within walking distance. The room was good value for money and large with a fairly clean bathroom.

Well, Wi-Fi was bad.

Magnificent location, absolutely fantastic and super breakfast with plenty of food.

We recommend the place and would love to go back. The room is decent sized and silent with a great bed and pillows. They have central heating, iron/ironing board, and a multi-channel television.

Nice location very close to the old town attractions, all was very good. Besides, it was near to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia or Topkapi Museum as well as the main attractions and tram station.

Their staff were a little rude.

The rooms they offer were good-sized and compact with a terrace and a kettle plus a comfortable bed. The highlight was the fab food.

Loved this low budget hotel: outstanding food and highly courteous and very hospitable staff. The location was excellent and unbeatable, around 10-15 minutes walk from an Ottoman - era Friday mosque. On top of that, restaurants and bars were near the property. King room I stayed at was decent sized and compact with breakfast.

the food was appetising, the breakfast was rich and savoury. the economy room had basic facilities you need, a mini bar fridge, air conditioner and a personal safe.

It had unbeatable and incredible location with access to a Roman triumphal column nearby.

The breakfast was rich and tasty, had lots of options and the food was delicious. The location was awesome, for example, Sultanahmet District Public Square was within easy walking distance of the hotel...

big rooms. plus, free wi fi worked well. the downtown is within 15 minutes' walk. in the evening we visited seyyah pub it was nearby.

The breakfast was good, thought you can also visit the new season restaurant, located in 900 feet. We stayed near many city attractions and within 15 mins on foot from basilica cistern. We recommend, maybe to friends.

Sehzade Turkish Kitchen was 10 mins walk away. Touristic places like sultanahmet square were next to our hotel...
